Jocelyn’s journey with SEI Voices for Children is a testament to her dedication and passion. She joined as a CASA Volunteer in March 2018, serving the children of Ripley County for two years. In April 2020, she took on a new role as a full-time Volunteer Coordinator, seizing the opportunity to make an even greater impact. In 2022, Jocelyn transitioned to Program Coordinator for SEI Voices for Children, which supports staff in best interest advocacy. She is also our annual Lemons event’s community outreach/recruiter and Chair. Before involvement with Voices for Children, Jocelyn lived in her husband’s home country of Cyprus and returned to Batesville to help run her family business. This personal journey adds a unique perspective to her professional roles and her passion for supporting other organizations within her community, which is evident in her role as a board member for the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce and Batesville Main Street.
Jocelyn’s academic journey is as diverse as her professional one. She graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, a testament to her commitment to advocating for children’s best interests. Her minors in Psychology and Sociology further enrich her understanding of the complex issues she deals with.
