Thank you Amack’s Well!
We continue to be supported by our amazing community!
Most recently we were honored to be chosen as a recipient of a community grant from Amack’s Well Coffeehouse in Batesville, Indiana. Amack’s Well is such an asset to our community in so many ways. In addition to offering a great cup of coffee and a welcoming place for community members to spend their time, they also have meeting rooms that can be reserved at no charge. If there is some sort of community event, or project it is a given that the Amack’s Well family is ready to jump in and offer their help in anyway. Amack’s Well operates as a non-profit and every year they invest in their local community through their “Give-Back” Campaign. This year they distributed $11,000 to local organizations chosen from entrees provided by the community. Since its inception, Amack’s Well has given more than $97,000 to local non-profits and families in need. We cannot thank the Amack’s Well Board of Directors enough for their support of our organization so that we may continue our mission of advocating for abused and neglected children in Ripley County. Amack’s Well Board President Curtis Gillman explained how the board was very happy to support Voices for Children and the work we do. He encouraged all in attendance to attend our yearly fundraiser and learn more about our organization. We are honored to have received this grant and are once again so thankful for our community that supports the children we serve!
